	Job description
	Roles & Responsibilities 
• Represent Chevron in all I&E construction activities onsite and offsite (e.g. fabrication 
yards, inspection visits) and serve as the primary contact for I&E installation scopes 
• Coordinate and manage contractor performance, ensuring adherence to I&E 
specifications, safety standards, and project milestones 
• Track and document daily time-on-tools using IOC tools (e.g. SASBU IODSC), and 
monitor installation durations versus estimates 
• Collaborate with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to align I&E 
deliverables with system completions and startup readiness 
• Support constructability and maintainability reviews during project planning and execution 
phases 
• Coordinate material readiness, equipment staging, and logistics for I&E scopes 
• Ensure compliance with Chevron’s Electrical Safe Work Practices and critical work 
procedures 
• Identify bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and ensure contractor adherence to 
safety protocols and tagging systems 
• Calculate progress metrics and completion status for field progress reports 
• Maintain accurate records of I&E installation, testing, and turnover documentation 
• Empower Painting Representatives to track and document daily tool usage using IOC 
tools (e.g., SASBU IODSC) and monitor installation durations against estimates.
 
	Profile
	Experience Requirements 
• Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas construction, with a strong background in I&E systems 
• Proven experience in brownfield and greenfield execution, including SIMOPS and offshore tie-ins 
• Electrical licensing or certification and/or an engineering degree is preferred
 
Competency Expectations 
• Deep understanding of I&E systems, installation standard, and testing protocols. 
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across functions and contractors. 
• Strong commitment to Chevron’s OEMS and regulatory standards 
• Clear communicator with stakeholders at all levels, including contractors and base business teams. 
• Proactive in identifying execution risks and proposing mitigation strategies
