Job description
Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on GIRASSOL PROJECT in Angola.
In this context, we are looking for competent and passionate professionals for a
position of a PLANNER (Maintenance Coordinator) M/F.
This position is located OFFSHORE in ANGOLA on the GIRASSOL in ROTATIONAL MODE 4x4.
We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:
Coordinate maintenance operations managed by GMC:
- Make sure that material requested by onshore fit with site material (if necessary request to update the BOM)
- Check availability of spare parts with Prep Dept assitance for the one which are stored onshore
- Dispatch preparation work between onshore and offshore (PTW, spare parts, lifting,etc...) and ensure the follow up.
- Gather the preparation works to ensure correct execution and follow up.
- Follow-up material delivery onsite and inform onshore and supervisors
- Follow-up of reporting into SAP by supervisors by continuous reminders and support in the reporting activities
- Check and comments activities prepared onshore by preparation team including PTW and reverts with comments if necessary
- Integrate PTW prepared onshore into the site planning by participating to PTW meeting for submission and recovery of permits
- Assist preparation team in clarification of notifications for activities to be prepared urgently onshore
- Follow closely Critical maintenance activities such as F&G Preventive maintenance activities or PSVs replacement
- Follow-up PSV calibration & installation progress, updates PSV Follow-up and SAP reporting and ensure proper Handover to other installing entities;
- Follow up of Flame arrestor replacement and/or maintenance
- Ensures F&G follow-up files is updated by instrumentation Supervisor
- Secure Offshore readiness / execution of the discipline’s activities in accordance with 5 weeks planning;
- Participate to CPY 5WLA Technical Review & Validation Planning Meeting and organize SITE feedback to DISCIPLINES and SMART ROOM
- Update Scheduling Tool (PRIMAVERA) as per latest execution status and organ
Methods
- Identifies, in the preparatory stage of maintenance works, any delicate operations and ensures that proper studies of the risks involved are carried out beforehand,
- Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements,
- Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
- Keeps track of any backlog of work in his area of responsibility and suggests corrective measures to the PTL if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable,
- Review mid-term planning issued by COMPANY. Comment as required and ensure consistency with short term planning.

- Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
- A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
- Fully conversant with SAP/R3

- Ability to advise and motivate multi-national teams,
