Votre mission

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of project management teams within company. This role focuses on ensuring the successful execution of projects, managing both project managers and individual projects, fostering strong client relationships, and enhancing overall service delivery.

 

LOCATION: The role is based in Abu Dhabi. Frequent travel to Iraq is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of project managers, ensuring efficient execution of all projects.
  • Directly manage key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and safety standards across all projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Prepare and submit competitive offers and proposals to clients, ensuring alignment with project capabilities and client requirements.
  • Monitor project performance, providing regular reports to the Country Manager and stakeholders on progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor project managers, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development.

Votre profil

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project managers and teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards within the oil and gas industry.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry.

Qualifications : 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the oil and gas services sector.
  • Proven experience managing project managers and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting client proposals and offers.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are preferred.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus.
