We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Servies Energy Doha for a:
Metal Lab Technician
- The Metal Lab Technician will work with respective cell leader of the Qatar Service Center to make sure all BAKER HUGHES standards and Organizational need are met.
- Responsible to perform laboratory sample analysis on Gas Turbine components by
using metallurgical laboratory in the organization.
We offer long-term contract with attractive daily rate, insurance coverage, transportation & expat standard accommodation
• Must have HS Diploma or GED. Strong shop mathematics, including addition,
subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals and fractions required.
• On the job experience in metallurgical laboratory, including preparation, analysis, and
interpretation of gas turbine component samples.
• Experience using laboratory equipment & chemicals including microscope, mounting
press, disc polishing machine, and hardness tester.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
