Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity for the PALANCA project on block 3 in Angola.
In order to participate to the growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are looking for a CBM Supervisor H/F.
This position is located OFFSHORE near of Luanda.
Main activites :
HSE
- Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE Requirements and Rules
- Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,
- Ensures compliance with Operating Procedures & Guidelines with the asset to ensure Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plan Integrity
Operations
- Organizes vibration, thermograph and oil sampling round. Analyze the results.
- Perform pump performances.
- Perform turbine and rotating compressor performances (training necessary)
- In charge of system 1 for monitoring and analyses.
- In charge of conditional maintenance vendors.
- Perform the scheduling of the conditional maintenance operations.
- Initiate and follow intervention using UNISUP.
- Assist Block 03 for rotating equipment punctual diagnosis, and initial point after standard exchange,
- Takes part in daily, weekly and co-ordination meetings on site, when needed.
Methods
- Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programs and proposes improvements.
- Warns supports teams of recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
- Keeps track of any backlog of work in his area of responsibility and suggests corrective measure if this backlog threatens becomes unmanageable.
- Prepare, adapt and modify Conditional Maintenance booklet,
- Edit monthly conditional maintenance report for all sites, including vibrations analysis, oil sampling results, pumps performances.
- Follow the organizations, proposals and material in the frame of new projects.
Quality assurance
- Monitors the actions taken concerning analysis of vibration, lubricant analysis and performance monitoring until their correction.
- Is responsible for the implementation of the approved operating instructions and current industry practices when performing interventions under its control, thus ensuring the quality of maintenance.
- Monitors the status and quantity of available tools and, if necessary, request replacement or purchase.
- Offers improvements in procedures.
The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
- Proven experience on conditional base maintenance and vibration monitoring equipments.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,
- Ability to use of sensors and other monitoring equipment to collect data on the performance of equipment (Infrared thermography / Vibration monitoring / Oil analysis / Ultrasonic analysis / Pressure analysis / Electrical analysis)
- Good mastery in the CBM Lifecycle (Planning / Implementation / Monitoring / Analysis / Improvement)
- SAP/R3 experience and know-how
- Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
- Fluent in English, knowledge of French & Portuguese language recommended
