Job description


Operations
Organises vibration, thermograph and oil sampling round. Analyse the results.
Perform pump performances.
Perform turbine and rotating compressor performances (training necessary)
In charge of system 1 for monitoring and analyses.
In charge of conditional maintenance vendors.
Perform the scheduling of the conditional maintenance operations.
Initiate and follow intervention using UNISUP.
Assist for rotating equipment punctual diagnosis, and initial point after standard exchange,
Takes part in daily, weekly and co-ordination meetings on site, when needed.
Ensure that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility.
Update the maintenance plan based on vibration measurement. This will include the list of equipment to be followed, the parameters (alarms) and the routes,
Configure the database on the vibration software in accordance with defined routes,
Perform the measurements,
Download the data loader to the data base,
Detect vibrations anomalies,
For simple cases, perform a diagnostic, for other cases, COMPANY shall be informed,
Propose corrective actions or a diagnostic plan,
Perform corrective actions with COMPANY agreement,
Report monthly to COMPANY in a written form the status of each equipment, with the justification of each reached alarm.
Completing analysis on WORKSITE using adequate oil test kit,
Compiling, archiving and completing preliminary analysis of all analysis.

Methods
Follow the organizations, proposals and material in the frame of new projects.
Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and proposes improvements.
Warns supports teams of recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts.
Keeps track of any backlog of work in his area of responsibility and suggests corrective measure if this backlog threatens becomes unmanageable.
Prepare, adapt and modify Conditional Maintenance booklet,
Edit monthly conditional maintenance report, including vibrations analysis, oil sampling results, pumps performances.

Profile

Purpose
Ensures the preparation and planning of the conditional maintenance; organising vibration, thermograph, oil sampling rounds
Analyses the results, providing assistance to CONTRACTOR and to the Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC)
Ensures that maintenance operations are prepared in strict accordance with COMPANY’s current safety rules and operating procedures.
Trains offshore assistant personnel as required.

Job Requirements
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
Proven experience on conditional base maintenance and vibration monitoring equipment
