Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on the Block 3, PALANCA in Angola.
In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are
looking for a Turbine Supervisor H/F .
This position is located OFFSHORE on PALANCA, Block 3 in ROTATIONAL MODE
4x4.
Role includes but is not limited to:
Operations
- He is directly involved in operations conducted offshore for the Turbine maintenance (Turbine MAN)
- He anticipates, plans site requests in logistical means necessary for smooth production & maintenance operations, taking the various constraints into account when planning and carrying out operations
- He participates in the preparation & scheduling by ensuring all materials and services are organized and optimized as required of all site activities
- He is following all subcontractors (SMC MAN manufactory).
- He liaises with all third parts for troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment activities.
- He works with company to define strategies for optimizing expenditure with subcontractor for level 4 and 5 Maintenance activities.
- He takes part in different daily, weekly and site coordination meetings
- He ensures feed back from site after vendor intervention and propose some improvement of installation
Methods:
- He analyses vendors repairs, failure reports, intervention repair, etc, and consolidate this data to make proposals to COMPANY for improvements and modifications.
- Reviewing the stock management regarding spare parts (type of management, re-supply thresholds, etc.),
- Proposes and justifies recommendations for the improvement of equipment availability, efficiency or maintainability and works in good collaboration with other entities to execute desired modifications,
- Makes sure that all Equipment and Spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS data base),
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,
- A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
- SAP/R3 experience and know-how
- Knowledge turbine MAN & Turbine FRAM 5
- Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams,
- Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,
- Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
- Working language: English, Portuguese as an advantage.
- He must have proven ability as a leader of small teams.
- Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organizational ability.
- Natural authority, founded on his abilities and on the trust he has in his teams, is essential.
