STP Mechanical Technician - Call Off - Male
Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in oil and gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with QatarEnergy Multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area
Client satisfaction concluded by awarding a new 05 years contract with manpower number increased.
Trouble shooting, maintaining, repairing and overhauling large size pumps, diesel engines, generators, compressors, blowers, piping maintenance and the like.
To perform general Mechanical repair,
Draws attention to his ability to manage a repair department, perform preventative work, and follow safety protocols.
Your main duties will be to:-
- execute the different maintenance tasks.
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on mechanical systems.
- Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
- Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.

Profile
Ideally you will have
Diploma (Mechanical / Chemical / Environment or equivalent) for Technician (STP / WWTP Mechanical)
or
Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Engineering Trade Certification in Mechanical or equivalent for Technician Mechanical
With a minimum experience of 05 Years in in oil and gas Industry or petrochemical industry or in similar facility or with major utilities as a mechanical technician assistant,
Shall be familiar with material specifications, bearings, fasteners, P&ID, Piping Isometric drawings and the like.
Able to perform mechanical repairs.
The candidate starts with general skills like repairing and maintaining equipment, running diagnostics, and identifying problems.
Familiar with hand tools, fasteners and other similar equipment.
The candidate concludes with important abilities including documentation and communication.
Written communication, Active listening, Verbal communication, editing.
Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving,
Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills,
