SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for Senior Telecom Rigger/Technician to join its work force in Nigeria.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Specialize in the Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Transmission and Radio devices including microwave and radio devices like Aviat Eclipse, Harris Truepoint, Airspan, Alvarion, Motorola VHF/UHF Analog and Digital Trunks, Tait UHF Trunk, Etelm Tetra (& other Tetra OEMs), VHF Marine/Aero etc.
- Resolution of incidents related to Transmission and Radio devices including microwave link issues and service availability for Aviat Eclipse, Harris Truepoint, Airspan, Motorola VHF/UHF Analog and Digital Trunks, Tait UHF Trunk, Etelm Tetra (& other Tetra OEMs), VHF Marine/Aero etc.
- Perform installations, maintenance and operations considered to be ‘Work at Height’ under HSE rules.
- Work with a support/field engineer for equipment corrective maintenance
- Work with a support/field engineer for equipment preventive maintenance
- Installation of equipment under the supervision of a support engineer
- Carry out equipment installations on all COMPANY Masts and tower in all location onshore and offshore when need be
- Work with 3rd Party SERVICE providers for all installations to be done on COMPANY masts and towers
- Implementation of equipment relocation and equipment moves under the supervision of a support engineer
- Implementation of any other technical duty as may be assigned by the CNM, SSE, SPE or Company
- Carry out 1st level intervention on the equipment in the Total Village Emergency Management Team (EMT) room, and escalate problems to the relevant Telecom section for corrective maintenance action(s)
- Carry out routine checks and tests, as scheduled by the COMPANY, on the Telecom equipment in the Total Village Emergency Management Team (EMT) room
- The technician(s) assigned to the Total Village residential site shall function as the Telecom representative at the location
- Work with a support engineer for equipment corrective maintenance
- Work with a support engineer for equipment preventive maintenance
- Installation of equipment under the supervision of a support engineer
- Implementation of equipment relocation and equipment moves under the supervision of a support engineer
- Implementation of any other technical duty as may be assigned by the CNM , SSE, SPE or Company
- Provide onsite maintenance support for the Total Village site
