In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are
looking for an Instrument Supervisor H/F .

This position is located OFFSHORE on PALANCA, Block 3 in ROTATIONAL MODE
4x4.

Role includes but is not limited to:

Operations

• Ensures all Instrumentation and Control Systems operations of maintenance to be carried out.
• Daily assistance to the production team during the startup of the plant, troubleshooting of different production problems, trips.
• Organises on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility,
• Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
• With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
• Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility
• Manages interventions using the CMMS and checks intervention reports in the CMMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the technical reports related to his field,
• Monitors the functioning of utilities and equipment placed under his responsibility,
• Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams, and actively participates in this himself,
• Carries out, at the COMPANY request, any intervention within his field of competence.
• Takes in charge the systems under his responsibility in case of breakdown until correct operation status.

Methods

• Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them and suggests improvements,
• Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements,
• Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
• Suggests improvements and requests modifications.

The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:

• Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
• Proven experience on Instrumentation and Control Systems equipment
• Calibration of Gauges, Calibration of Pressure Safety Valve (PSV).
• 5 years’ experience minimum in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,
• Good knowledge of Instrumentation and Control Systems (PFD and P&ID diagrams, Instrument list and I/O list, Specifications and data sheets, Valve, relief valve and pressure reducing valve calculations, Layout and routing plans, Assembly standards, Equipment parts lists, Terminal block and BJ plans, Grouping cabinet plans, Control room and technical room layout plans, Loop diagrams, Interconnection diagrams)
• SAP/R3 experience and know-how
• Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
• Working language: English Bright 3.5 (or equivalent)
• Fluent in English, knowledge of French & Portuguese language recommended
