Job description

1.     Motivated Company Project Line Management and Contractors to prioritize HSSE implementation and promote the development of a positive HSSE culture, including the enhancement of safe behaviors.
2.     Managed the implementation of Company programs within the project environment, and recorded and followed up on their execution through to project completion.
3.     Monitored the implementation of the Contractor’s and subcontractors’ approved Project HSE Plan, referenced procedures, and bridging documents.
4.     Provided assistance and recommendations to the CSR (Company Site Representative) in the resolution of HSE issues and disputes.
5.     Ensured that Company and Contractor supervisory teams respected and complied with all Company regulations regarding HSSE objectives at all times and at all locations.
6.     Coordinated and implemented monitoring programs to evaluate and report Contractor and Company HSE performance across the full project lifecycle, including commissioning activities.
7.     Ensured, monitored, recorded, and reported Contractor performance in the implementation of Project
8.     Reviewed and provided comments on project procedures, ensuring that appropriate risk assessment requirements were in place, and monitored compliance with procedures, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems at the assigned project yard and/or site facilities.
9.     Ensured the implementation of the Emergency Response Plan, acting as a liaison between the Company, Contractor, and subcontractor entities.
10.  Ensured that the Contractor’s medical facilities, equipment, and organization complied with Company regulations and standards.
11.  Reported daily to the CSR, including providing advice, solutions, and mitigation actions for any HSSE-related issues.
12.  Provided and managed HSSE inductions for new personnel and visitors, including safety briefings, safety talks, and toolbox meetings.
13.  Acted as a trainer on behalf of the Company and participated in preparing project requirements for the implementation of mandatory full-day Project Training Programs for all personnel arriving at the site/yard for the first time.
14.  Ensured the validity of annual medical examinations and specific requirements for all personnel.
15.  Promote and encourage safe behavior among all Company personnel and Contractors, including but not limited to safety campaigns, personal protective equipment (PPE), occupational health and industrial hygiene, job risk assessments, reporting, and anomaly analysis.
16.  Ensure the implementation of a standardized Permit to Work system for all activities.
17.  Ensure protection against all environmental and social risk impacts throughout the duration of the project;
18.  Ensure protection against all environmental and social risk impacts during the project period, including but not limited to Contractor Environmental Management System documents and Contractor Social Assessment and Action Plans;

Profile

1.     Holds a Bachelor’s degree (S1 or equivalent) in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or HSSE, and possesses evidence of formal training in HSSE with recognized qualifications or certifications.

2.     Has a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, including at least seven (7) years in Oil & Gas safety supervision roles with HSSE responsibilities in EPC Oil & Gas projects.

3.     Previous experience in directly supervising 5–10 supervisors.

4.     Experience in projects with a value of USD 20–50 million or above is considered an advantage.

5.     Good exposure to and understanding of recognized national and international standards, codes, laws, regulations, ministerial regulations (PERMEN), and other applicable requirements related to HSSE discipline activities and Indonesian government regulations.

6.     Knowledge of risk assessment techniques and experience in organizing HIRA, HAZID, JRA, JSA, and other qualitative risk assessment reviews.

7.     Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

8.     Comprehensive understanding of construction project activities, including SIMOPS, construction, piping installation, hook-up, and commissioning, as well as operational awareness of live process plants and related hazards.

9.     Safety awareness, courage, initiative, planning and organizing, decisiveness, active listening, conceptual and forward thinking, mutual support, impact and influence, multicultural awareness, ethical awareness, and empowering others.

10.  Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the Company.

11.  Proactive with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

12.  Able to work effectively under pressure.
