SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Crane/Mechanical Preparation Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria.
HSE:
- Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE Requirements and Rules.
- Contributes to ensuring that TEPDK and NorSpie’s HSE regulations are considered during preparations as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practices.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for all Mechanical Static or Rotating Preparations subjects (systems, packages, or plant) under the frame
of responsibilities. - Ensuring conformance to Client’s Company rules, best standards, and general legislations.
- Ensures delivery of Work Preparations and support to maintenance activities of the Site team.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Contribute to ensure adherence to stipulated GMC scope of services and improved performance of all Technical KPIs’, Preparations, Backlog Control Planning and Equipment availability/reliability.
- Take charge of Work Orders under His/her responsibility and ensure the accuracy of detailed technical elements during preparations.
- Ensures Work Orders are accurately resourced, all materials, tools, and services are identified and pre-planned in CMIMS for execution at site and work location.
- Review procedures/work instructions and ensure adaptability, review functional locations and related WO lists to ensure that all outstanding works in the concerned package/system are fully considered during the preparations.
- Ensure that Permit to Work are properly prepared in line with the defined procedures and ready ahead of execution datelines. Typical 5 Weeks to the execution start date.
- Ensures compliance to the best preparations standard practices and in line with TEPDK defined principles and guidelines by ensuring minimal unapproved WOs under the scope of responsibility, platforms or packages, especially those critical to Safety and production. (Defined WOs Priorities, SECE, Vital Equipment etc)
- As a principle and in adherence to the set GMC KPI, the work preparer shall try to maintain at all times, a threshold
of ≤ 5% INIT of the total open work order count, under the frame of responsibilities. - On a daily basis, the PM04 preparations guideline shall help to define the priorities of the daily tasks. All activities
requested by the Clients to be managed as a higher priority within the frame of contract shall be checked with the GMC Mechanical Preparations - focal point for clarifications where required. - All PM WOs under the scope of responsibility shall be released minimum of 6 Weeks to the Earliest Start Date.
- Provide urgent, short term and long-term site supports as applicable, within the boundaries of preparations, responsibilities and within the frame of GMC contract.
- Initiate identification of new SAP UNISOL material. Update material creation template as required with the frame of the GMC Contract.
- Request for master data change by raising NM notification as required.
Profile must be able to make full MECH Work preparations of course "including Cranes"
Must already have strong knowledge of Total Energies' full work preparations requirements
- Equivalent of DUT/BTS (French), Bachelors in relevant specialties Mechanical/Marine Engineering
- Experience in Mechanical static and rotating drives
- Professional experience: 5 years in Oil & Gas business especially in work preparations or related fields.
- Experience in maintenance operations support.
- Good knowledge of planning and CMIMS tools (preferably SAP based),
- Evision permit Systems and other Preparations, Tools/Resources.
Skills required:
Computer Literacy, Preparations tools proficiency, Ability to work in a multicultural organization, good
presentation and communication skills.
