SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join its work force.
HSE:
- Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE Requirements and Rules.
- Contributes to ensuring that TEPDK and NorSpie’s HSE regulations are considered during planning as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practices.
- Take particular attention to the planning linked to the SECE equipment.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible to plan and schedule (2 weeks, 5 weeks and 4 months look ahead) all activities under GMC activities
in SAP tacking into account readiness (material, resources, support required from other stakeholders). - Ensure conformance to Client’s Company rules, best standards, and general legislations.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Contribute to ensure adherence to stipulated GMC scope of services and improved performance of all Technical KPIs’, Preparations, Backlog Control Planning and Equipment availability/reliability.
- Respect all processes and procedure (GMC and TEPDK) in place.
- Ensuring planned jobs are accurately resourced, all materials, tools, and services are identified and pre-planned in CMIMS/SAP for execution at site and work location.
- Ensuring allocation of resources for the execution of planned jobs
- Coordinates meetings with offshore stakeholders for review of draft plan, follow up on site feedback and make necessary adjustment before plan is frozen for offshore execution.
- Follow up with offshore to ensure clean-up on SAP, of all planned and completed jobs.
- Ensure 2 weeks is following the scheduling principal, taking into account Vital equipment list, Smart room request, team lead and offshore request.
- Interacts with other functional planners (maintenance, FMC, Well Services, Projects, etc.) and IOP planner to optimize interrelated activities.
- Executes regular reviews of backlog of planned work to reduce as much as possible (especially the SECE).
- Facilitate follow-up of non-executed jobs to ensure additional preparation of the WOs is done.
- Coordinate shutdown and campaign: creation and follow-up of readiness tracker (list of WOs, opportunities jobs, materials follow-up, and reporting), ensure to give status during regular meeting with all different stakeholders.
- Creation of the execution plan (MS Project) and create progress report.
- Communication with onshore material coordinators (GMC & TEPDK) regarding shipping of materials and create break-ins as required.
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
- Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’
study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent. - 5 to 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations.
- A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
- Fully conversant with SAP/R3
- MS office and Excel good proficiency
- Ability to advise and motivate multi-national teams
