Experience & Background Subsea engineering degree in Chemical/Petroleum or equivalent. Minimum 5 years' experience in oil and gas process/production, project construction/management, preferably in a deep offshore environment. Excellent multi-discipline technical background to be able to participate actively in the evaluation of operational issues and their possible solutions. Interpret and work from P&IDs, tubing hook-up drawings, instrument installation drawings, isometric drawings, layouts, and construction specifications. Install, route, support, and terminate instrument tubing for pressure, temperature, level, flow, control and other instrumentation systems. Carry out installation of stainless steel, copper, carbon steel and other specified tubing materials in accordance with project specifications. Fabricate tubing runs by accurately measuring, cutting, bending, forming and assembling tubing to suit approved drawings and site conditions. Install and connect tube fittings, compression fittings, ferrule fittings, bulkhead fittings, manifolds, valves, needle valves, check valves and associated accessories. Perform tubing installation between instruments, impulse lines, manifolds, process connection points, control valves and junction/interface points. Ensure correct tubing routing, including proper slope, accessibility, clearance, supports, separation and protection against mechanical damage. Install tubing supports, clamps, brackets and mounting accessories in accordance with approved drawings and engineering requirements. Ensure tubing is correctly identified using tag numbers, line numbers, service identification and instrument references. Carry out tubing installation for instrument air, process impulse, pneumatic control, hydraulic and other utility services as specified in the project scope. Conduct tubing preparation activities including deburring, cleaning, flushing and protection of tube ends before connection. Ensure all tubing connections are properly assembled and tightened using the correct tools, torque requirements and manufacturer's installation procedures. Carry out leak testing, pressure testing, pneumatic testing and/or hydrostatic testing of tubing systems as required by approved procedures. Identify and rectify tubing installation defects such as leaks, incorrect routing, damaged tubing, loose fittings, improper bending or inadequate supports. Carry out cable pulling and installation activities for power, control, instrumentation, telecom, fiber-optic, fire alarm, CCTV and other ELV cables as assigned. Verify cable routes, tray availability, conduits, ducts and cable trenches before commencing cable-pulling activities. Inspect cable drums and verify cable type, size, length, drum number, tag number and destination against approved cable schedules. Set up cable drums, rollers, cable socks, pulling ropes, winches and other equipment required for safe and controlled cable installation. Perform manual and mechanical cable pulling while maintaining the manufacturer's specified maximum pulling tension, bending radius and installation requirements. Ensure cables are properly supported and arranged on cable trays, ladders, conduits, ducts, trenches and underground routes. Maintain proper cable separation between power, control, instrumentation, communication and intrinsically safe circuits in accordance with project requirements. Ensure cables are not damaged during installation and immediately report any cuts, crushing, excessive bending, sheath damage or other defects. Position description :
GENERAL DESCRIPTION : Responsible for all ELECTRICAL & HVAC preparation subjects (systems, packages, or plant) under the frame of responsibilities. Ensure conformance to TEPDK rules, best standards, and general legislations. Ensure delivery of Work Preparations and support to maintenance activities of the site team Establish and maintain a strong safety culture in line with TEPDK and NorSPIE HSE Requirements and Rules. Ensuring that TEPDK and NorSPIE’s QHSE regulations and procedures are applied. Give his/her contribution in hazard analyses, incident investigations in root cause failure analyses, process incidents advising his/her hierarchy about QHSE issue or opportunities and proposing corrective solutions. MAIN FUNCTIONS : • Contribute to ensure adherence to stipulated GMC scope of services and improved performance of all Technical KPIs, Preparations, Backlog Control Planning and Equipment availability/reliability. • Take charge of Work Orders under his/her responsibility and ensure the accuracy of detailed technical elements during preparations. • Ensure Work Orders are accurately resourced, all materials, tools, and services are identified and pre-planned in CMIMS for execution at site and work location. • Review procedures/work instructions and ensure adaptability, review functional locations and related WO lists to ensure that all outstanding works in the concerned package/system are fully considered during the preparations. • Ensure that Permit to Work are properly prepared in line with the defined procedures and ready ahead of execution datelines (typical 5 Weeks to the execution start date). • Ensure compliance to the best preparation standard practices and in line with TEPDK defined principles and guidelines by ensuring minimal unapproved WOs under the scope of responsibility, platforms or packages, especially those critical to Safety and production (defined WOs Priorities, SECE, Vital Equipment etc.). • As a principle and in adherence to the set GMC KPI, the work preparer shall try to maintain at all times a threshold of ≤ 5% INIT of the total open work order count, under the frame of responsibilities. • On a daily basis, the PM04 preparations guideline shall help to define the priorities of the daily tasks. All activities requested by the Clients to be managed as a higher priority within the frame of contract shall be checked with the GMC Preparations - focal point for clarifications where required.

Experience in ELECTRICAL Systems in the Offshore Environment Professional experience: 5 years in Oil & Gas business especially in work preparations or related fields. Experience in maintenance operations support. Good knowledge of planning and CMIMS tools (preferably SAP based), E-vision permit Systems and other Preparations, Tools/Resources.
