    Garage Supervisor

Garage Supervisor should be a very capable person, well versed in all aspects of Garage SERVICES, with having adequate experience (minimum 10 years). In efficiently planning and executing the preventive maintenance program of Mobile / Static diesel driven equipment and repair to hydraulic systems for
various heavy lifting vehicles and portable equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Co-ordinate/ Organize and monitor routine and preventive maintenance of vehicles/equipment at plant for Maintenance of Heavy Equipment like Diesel Generator, Fire Water pumps ,Air compressors, Mobile cranes, Trucks, man lifts, firefighting equipment, other lifting equipment’s etc…
Provide schedule activities and assign technicians to perform Periodical Maintenance programs as per PM WORK ORDER / and inspections or/ and attend breakdown jobs as well as emergency jobs.
Supervision of spare parts replacements by using proper tools and manufactures specifications.
Diagnose the electrical and electronic defect in the machines and rectified the defects.
Control/ understand the overhauling jobs of various types of hydraulic pumps like, gear pumps, variable flow piston pumps etc...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Educational Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering &amp; Automobile Engineering
Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering                                                Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the field of Heavy Equipment
Maintenance activities out of this minimum 5 years in Oil &amp;Gas or petrochemical industries.
Excellent technical knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics
Familiar with the Firefighting Equipment/vehicles operation and maintenance.
Technical background, preferably in Mechanical Engineering &amp; Automobile Engineering

Mechanical Supervisor (PRV ) 

Duties and Responsibilities
• Reports to the nominated Qatargas Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance at all times with Qatargas Permit to work procedure, safety procedure, Environmental Health, Safety and security procedures, as well as occupational health and safety regulations.
• Conducts toolbox talk for maintenance crew and ensure safety measures are in place as stipulated in Job Safety Assessment prior to starting the job.
• Observe safety hazards, unsafe condition and near miss and report as per reporting procedure.
• Directs and provide close onsite supervision of all Mechanical maintenance jobs performed by the technicians in the assigned area within Qatargas facilities.
• Manages the operation of Tool Store ensuring that consumables are regularly reordered and refurbished and damaged tools are replaced promptly.
• Participates in the execution of major maintenance and main shutdowns. This includes highlighting specific items of equipment/spare parts which require Maintenance Workshop involvement, assessing resources, material and logistic requirements.
• Quality Control Measures for all Maintenance-related activities using checklist.
• Organizing skills to form a team of Valve technicians during any major Shutdowns and Turnarounds
• Capable of understanding valve data sheets, assembly drawings and cross sectional drawings.
• Capable of understanding control valve testing procedure as per leakage class
• Identification of Spare parts and prioritization, and Select the right size &amp; types of tools.
• Direct Mechanical maintenance related works, provide routine onsite supervision, checks work progress of subordinates and provide guidance / direction to technician in solving complex problem.
• Review work notifications, plans execution, manages work orders and ensures PPM compliance and records are updated in SAP, filed &amp; signed as appropriate.
• Co-ordinates remedial actions for faults encountered. This includes participating in diagnosis and repair of faults and breakdowns.
• Participates in the review of Preventive Maintenance program and recommends necessary changes based on maintenance history.
• Prepares records of validation data and details of maintenance activities updates system as required.
• Compiles and submits reports on incidents and failure investigations as and when required.
• Ensure all tools and test equipment is available for fieldwork team to execute the daily activities.
• Evaluates and reports on maintenance needs and priorities in his area of responsibility.
• Participate in Bad Actor and Root Cause Failure Analysis and make recommendations for improvement.
• Ability to understand technical &amp; maintenance problems and develop a structured work pack, plan and execution&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Experience, Knowledge and skills

Educational Qualifications: Minimum Higher Secondary School Education plus a three-year technical
diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent) in Mechanical from a recognized institution.
Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience with at least 5 years supervisory level on field equipment in diversified oil &amp; gas processing or petrochemical plants. PRV workshop Experience is Mandatory.
Computer Skills: Computer literate with knowledge of SAP and commonly used Microsoft business software packages required.
English Language Skills: Good written and oral communication skills in English.
Certification: Certificate from a specialist Bolting Company as a Torque machine operator.

Job Specific Requirements:
• Good knowledge and troubleshooting of Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
• Experience and knowledge in the troubleshooting, maintenance, overhaul, temporary repairs and commissioning stationary equipment such as Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Steam Traps, Piping Systems, Process Valves, Conveyor Belt System, Filters, etc.
• Good knowledge in Rotating equipment such as turbo-machinery maintenance and troubleshooting on gas and steam turbines, compressors (centrifugal and reciprocating), pumps, mechanical seals, gear box, fans and blowers and other machinery related equipment / devices such as gearbox, etc.
• Able to carry out measurements, rotating equipment alignment (dial &amp; laser). Sufficient experience &amp; knowledge in vibration measurement, gas turbine &amp; compressor anti-surge systems.
• Should be able to understand Piping &amp; Instrumentation Diagrams, Data Sheets, Process Flow Diagrams, Loop Drawings and Cause &amp; Effect, Function Block &amp; Ladder Logic Diagrams.
• Familiar with a permit to work system and LOTO and temporary defeat system procedures.
• Good adaptability to multinational environment with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
• A strong focus on safety is paramount and practical knowledge of permit to work systems and lock out procedures applicable to LNG / Petrochemical plants is required.

To lead and manage the following tasks:
Process and technology performance monitoring of Residue Fluidised Catalyst Cracking (RFCC), LPG Treating Unit (LTU) and Propylene Recovery Unit (PRU).
Through detailed analyses of operational data; optimization improvement, as well as operational support and technical advice are to be demonstrated for the safe, reliable and optimum operation throughout the plant lifecycle.
To support smooth operation of RFCC, LTU and PRU units and ensure its intended production capacity and product quality for downstream units whilst meeting all regulatory requirements.
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES-

1) TECHNICAL STUDIES
Strategies and lead technical studies for plant modifications by evaluating technical and commercial feasibility options to achieve improvements in areas of plant energy efficiency, operational flexibility, or compliance to HSE requirements. 
This may include the selection of new technology applications available in industry.
 
2) PROCESS MONITORING, ANALYSIS &amp; TROUBLESHOOTING
Lead the daily process monitoring of key operating parameters, catalyst performance and products’ quality to ensure adherence to safe operating limits. Identify unit/process potential problems through the analysis of key operating parameters, and troubleshooting anomalies. 
Recommend proactive measures to Operations by improving operating procedures/parameters/guidelines to avoid potential problems from escalating and sustaining safe, reliable and optimum plant operation. Effective communication and good rapport with the Process Licensor and catalyst supplier will also be required.
 
3) PROCESS IMPROVEMENT &amp; OPTIMISATION
Strategise and plan plant and facility improvement and optimisation studies of RFCC/LTU/PRU by identifying potential benefits using applicable simulation tools, performing plant/facility trial runs, identifying plant/unit performance limitations, reviewing lesson learnt and adopt best practices as well as investigating and establishing improved operating guidelines to ensure optimum plant performance, maximize value creation and minimize operating cost. 
Perform technical evaluation for new feedstocks and provide appropriate operating guidelines to Operations for a smooth transition to the new feedstock and subsequent operations. 
Effective communication and rapport with the Process Licensor will also be required.
 
4) COMMISSIONING &amp; START-UP
Lead and plan the commissioning and start-up activities of improvement or modification projects and chemical and media loading through effective collaboration and coordination with the Licensor, Engineering team, Operation team and Contractors, as well as ensuring construction is as per design and compliance to project specifications and standards to achieve flawless commissioning, start-up and performance testing of the facility with quality and standard while complying with the statutory regulation and business objectives in a safe and effective&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field with minimum 12 years’ experience in oil and gas Industry, preferably in Refining.
Possess strong knowledge in technical, process technology/operation.
