Turnaround Planning Engineer - Electrical &amp; Instrumentation
 
Turnaround Execution
Implement the execution strategy for Turnaround scope, including detailed scheduling, resource optimization, and effective communication among all stakeholders and contractors to ensure timely completion of work.
• Coordinate closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, including alignment on priorities, issue resolution, and recovery actions in case of delays.
• Monitor and control Turnaround progress using schedules, performance indicators, and trend analysis to assess deviations and implement corrective measures.
• Update and manage schedules to accommodate unforeseen or emergent scope during Turnaround, ensuring all changes are properly evaluated and approved.
• Ensure readiness prior to execution by verifying availability of materials, manpower, tools, permits, and other prerequisites.
• Support mechanical completion, punch list clearance, and pre-startup readiness verification to facilitate safe and efficient startup.
• Facilitate effective communication across all teams for continuous progress tracking, issue resolution, and schedule recovery.
• Coordinate the power outage caused by the isolation of the switchboard for shutdown maintenance on busbars.
• Evaluate the temporary power supply requirements based on the identified temporary loads and develop the technical specifications required for ordering the same.
• Review the temporary power connections to the temporary loads and work with the respective field group on securing the same.
• Ensure the quality of short-term contractor manpower hired to support with the shutdown activities.
• Monitor the record of attendance for contractor manpower and equipment for the sake of invoicing after the completion of the shutdown.
• Raise emergency purchase enquiries for unforeseen requirements emerging during the execution of the shutdown.
• Follow on the implementation of the lessons learned from previous shutdown for the sake of continuous improvement.
Turnaround scope and plans
Develop and define the Turnaround scope, including contract requirements, in line with agreed milestones, and ensure preparation of work packs, personnel mobilization plans, and execution strategies for shutdown and Turnaround windows.
• Act as focal point for technical inputs related to tendering, technical evaluations, and contract presentations within the assigned area.
• Establish, maintain, and report the master planning schedule across all phases of the Turnaround, including progress monitoring, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions, while controlling scope changes through a structured process.
• Initiate and manage all required work orders and activities in SAP systems with realistic duration estimates, ensuring timely availability of resources, materials, and spare&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline  (Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics). 5–10 years of direct and relevant TAR planning/engineering experience. Proficiency in SAP and Primavera P6 required. Strong understanding of Stage-Gate governance, critical path management, and integrated TAR execution.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Offic&lt;br /&gt;

Training Supervisor
Purpose
 Plan, coordinate, and execute organisational learning initiatives end-to-end. Accountable for accurate Training Needs Analysis, sourcing and delivery of quality training solutions, measurement of learning outcomes, and administration of the Learning Management System — all in support of continuous capability development and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with business leaders and the Capability Development team to identify capability gaps at organisational, departmental, and individual levels. Consolidate findings and prepare the annual TNA and Training Calendar for approval.
Training Planning &amp; Sourcing: Identify and evaluate external training providers and programmes for relevance, quality, and value for money. Coordinate vendor registration with Supply Chain and conduct annual vendor evaluations.
Training Coordination &amp; Delivery: Communicate training plans to stakeholders; coordinate schedules, venues, facilitators, and participant logistics. Monitor execution against timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and training partners to develop fit-for-purpose training modules.

Reporting &amp; Interfaces
Reports to: Chief Major Projects Officer. Manages: Section Heads, Engineers, Coordinators, Supervisors, Inspectors. Interfaces with: EPCC Contractor, Subcontractors, Procurement, Engineering teams, and client IMS functions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Education &amp; Experience
 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field — mandatory. Professional certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) — desirable. Certified Trainer qualification — advantageous. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a training or L&amp;D function. Proven track record in end-to-end training programme delivery at company-wide scale. Demonstrated experience with LMS platforms and emerging learning technologies. Solid understanding of competency framework development and implementation.
Technical Competencies

MISSIONS :

Recruitment &amp; Talent Acquisition :

Stakeholder Management &amp; Reporting :

Prepare recruitment dashboards, KPIs and weekly reporting for HR management.
Ensure recruitment activities are conducted within agreed timelines and service levels.

Employer Branding &amp; HR Support :
Create and publish recruitment communication content using corporate HR communication materials.
Promote employment opportunities through LinkedIn and other professional networks.
Support employer branding initiatives and talent attraction campaigns.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of recruitment processes and tools.

HR Business Support :
Support the HR Leader in recruitment-related activities across BU ENA projects.
Participate in workforce planning and talent pipeline development.
Contribute to HR initiatives supporting business growth and organizational development.
Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, confidentiality requirements and applicable employment regulations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Master's degree in Human Resources.
Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Experience within an international environment; industrial sector experience is a strong advantage.

Reporting &amp; Context
 Based within the Commercial Division, Strategic Sourcing department, reporting to the Head of Category. Established March 2025, approved by the Chief Commercial Officer.
Job Purpose
Support the Head of Category in executing category strategies, lead complex sourcing projects, and manage supplier relationships across assigned categories.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy &amp; Sourcing: Contribute to category strategy development and execution; lead complex tenders, sourcing events, and negotiations.

Supplier &amp; Contract Management: Manage supplier relationships, contract renewals, performance reviews, and resolution of non-conformances.

Education &amp; Experience
 Diploma in Engineering or BSc/BCom from an accredited university. Minimum 5 years' procurement/supply management experience in Oil &amp; Gas or petrochemicals. Professional certification in Supply Chain or Business Administration (CIPS, CPSM or equivalent) is an advantage.
Technical Competencies
 Full command of the procurement cycle (RFQ, bid evaluation, negotiation, PO expediting, closeout). Solid knowledge of Incoterms, commercial/legal contractual terms, logistics, and international trade insurance. Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA and/or SAP Ariba; comfortable with MS 365 and standard Office tools. In-depth understanding of MRO product specifications with ability to identify alternatives. Awareness of current purchasing policies, market conditions, and best-practice procurement standards.
1. Experience in Capital Projects, Engineering, or Technical Services (including Industrial Gases and Chemicals, Catalysts, and Civil Works)
2. Experience of Qafco or Qatar Energy sister companies
